Twisted Series: Review

I have spent the past couple of months soaking my imagination with this romantic series. I will say that it was time well spent and I had a lot of fun reading through each unique experience. My favorite would be Twisted Hate. I love how couples start off hating each other and then work their way into love. Twisted Love would come second, then Lies, last Games.

The series as whole: I give a 7/10. I love how all the men encouraged their significant others to reach their highest potential in their careers. Alex helped Ava overcome her fear of water and because of that she was able to travel to London to become a photographer. Josh encouraged Jules to pass her bar exam and even helped her out when they were working at the clinic. Christian pushed Stella to pursue her dream as a fashion designer. Rhys stood by Bridget's side when she became queen of Eldorra. I love the support and the fact the men weren't intimidated by the womens' intelligence, power, and resilience. It made them more lovable as the pages turned.

I personally dislike the "C" words that describe genitalia. I honestly wouldn't want to get in bed with any of these men because they use those words. When I say instant turn off, I mean instant. It was over before it even began and they all talk the same. I love wild, crazy, uninhibited, sex. The thirst, the hunger, the addiction, the lust, was written beautifully. I just wished the women were more dominant in some scenes. They all had a dick shoved down their throat or they were the ones getting fucked into oblivion. It was especially disappointing for Jules considering she had the strongest personality out of the four. I wanted to see the men being dominated in bed more. None of the bitches were on top riding dick. If there was a scene, please correct me. I may have missed something. However, I do distinctly remember the girls were the ones getting pounded, choked, smacked, hair pulled, and all that other freaky stuff. Even going down on them was not in their control. All of the women were subs.

I'm sure there are people in this world that have a distinguished and accomplished group of friends. It's nice to be well connected with royalty and CEO's who run multimillion dollar companies. I know I would like to be a part of their circle, minus the murder. The fact that all the men were comfortably rich was interesting, yet nauseating. Josh was a doctor, Alex and Christian both ran wealthy companies. Rhys was ex-military and was a royal bodyguard before becoming a prince. They all treated the women to fancy romantic getaways around the world which included London, Paris, Costa Rica, Hawaii, New Zealand, and Italy. I mean, it was pretty cool that they had boyfriends who could fly them out whenever they wanted, but who really does that?? I understand it's fiction. However, its quite predictable to have a partner that doesn't have to worry about money. Christian Grey from 50 shades was rich too, and his vibes were felt heavily in Alex Volkov and Christian Harper.

I loved how Josh flew to Ohio to be with Jules when her mother died.

I love how Christian made sure to go to the only store where they sold Stella's favorite salsa. (He didn't have to murder the guy who groped Stella at an event they attended though.)

Even though it's insane, Alex quit his job and gave up the company to be with Ava in London.

Rhys put his entire job and reputation on the line to be with Bridget.

I'm glad that love was shown with actions just as intense as their sex. I love how everyone found their person and they all pretty much became their own family. There was a happy ending for everyone and that made every book worth the read.

It was a fun collection. The author did great!
